We have several ministry teams that you can join! We always are looking for new folks to help them utilize their gifts for the kingdom. Below you will find team names, a brief description, and a contact person that will help get you involved in that ministry. Take a look and if you don’t find something that fits your interests or gifts let us know…we may be able to create something new!!!
Facilities Team: The Facilities Team works on maintaining and enhancing our building and grounds. We have a very nice facility and we hope to keep it that way – to the honor of God. Churches aren’t buildings – they are people, but God has blessed us with a beautiful place to meet and fellowship and break bread together. If you have maintenance skills, construction skills, lawn and gardening skills, landscaping skills, plumbing skills, electrical skills, or technical skills this team is for you!

Fellowship Team: The Fellowship Team is just what it sounds like…a group of folks that plan and put on events to give us opportunities to have fellowship together. Everything from church-wide dinners to family fun events, our fellowship team brings us together for good food, good friends, and good times. If you are a social person, if you like to have a good time, or if you have a creative streak, this team might be for you!

Finance Team: The Finance Team is a group of folks who use their skills with numbers and finance management to help us be good stewards of the things that God has blessed us with. This team prepares and manages the budget, deals with unforeseen expenses that come up, and manages any fundraising or capital campaigns that might happen. If you have math skills, banking experience, budgeting or planning skills, or creative fundraising ideas this is the team for you!

Food Pantry Team: The Food Pantry team facilitates and runs our twice a month food pantry. Everything from canned goods to perishables like bread and meat are handed out the second Tuesday of the month from 6-8pm and the last Tuesday of the month from 8am to noon. If you have social skills, a heart for people in need, a strong service and work ethic, or if you like to work with food, this may be the ministry team for you!

Good Shepherd Learning Center Team: The GSLC team is a group of folks who help Tricia Roller our preschool director and the teachers pull off major events for the preschool, like graduation, the Christmas program, parent appreciation days, and other fun events. They also serve as a sounding board for the Director to help and support the ministry. This ministry team requires a background check. If you have social skills, like to work with little ones and their parents, enjoy putting on events and activities, this may be the team for you!

Guest Services Team: This is a new team at Brady Lane Church and will be forming as we move through this year. If you would like to be on the ground floor of a new team and help make it a blessing to our guests let us know! If you like to be social, love meeting people, and enjoy showing people love, compassion, and you can communicate with people clearly this is a team for you!

Media Team: The Media Team is also a new team being formed at Brady Lane Church. This team will be working with and managing our social media accounts, our website, our mobile apps, our video production, and our photography and graphic design elements. If you have an artistic eye, love to create and design, have computer skills, and prefer to be behind or in front of the camera…this team is for you!

Missions Team: The Missions Team is a group of folks who are passionate about local, national, and global missions. We currently support 9 missions at Brady Lane Church: (local) Miami Elementary School, Matrix Life Care Center, Hanging Rock Christian Assembly, (National) IDES, Restoration House Church Planters, Pinehaven Christian Children’s Ranch, (Global) Compassion International, Nick and Amanda Dunn in Ethiopia through CMF, and Pastor Sunday in Ivory Coast, Africa through Ivory Coast Christian Mission. If you are passionate about sharing the gospel of Christ, want to participate in local, national, or global missions trips, or have creative ideas on how to improve the awareness of our missions this team is for you!

Next Generation Team: The Next Gen Team as it is also known is a group of people who pour their lives and wisdom and love into the next generation of the church. You will walk alongside our Next Generation Director Stacey Smith to help our infants, young children, elementary school children, Jr. High students, Sr. High students, College students, and young adults 18-29 to grow into the future leaders of Brady Lane Church, and churches everywhere. This is one of the most important, if not THE MOST IMPORTANT ministry in the church because every church is one generation from closing its doors. If you like to work with children, have musical or artistic skills, teaching skills, creative skills, or if you like to work with Jr. High or High School kids – or young adults this may be the team for you. This team requires a background check for anyone working with students from birth to 18.

Prayer Team: The Prayer team is a group of folks who work to bring passion to our communicating with God, both on individual levels, and also as a congregation. They assist with prayer times in worship service and plan and carry out special prayer times throughout the course of the year. We are working at Brady Lane Church to make this place a house of prayer. If you have a passionate prayer life, are a prayer warrior, or would like to become one this is the team for you!

Tech Team: The Tech Team is a group of folks who work behind the scenes to make us look and sound good during our worship services, and also to manage and maintain our technical equipment throughout the building. This team keeps our security system working, handles our server and network maintenance, keeps our internal broadcasting system operational, and runs sound, lights, and video for our worship services. If you are interested in technical things, like working with computers, audio visual equipment, or security systems, this may be the team for you.

Worship Team: The worship team is made up of folks with musical talents and gifts that God has given. We embrace two different worship styles at Brady Lane Church, with a traditional service and two contemporary services. If you have an instrumental or vocal gift that you would like to share with our congregation, this team may be for you. Please contact our team leader Lee Anna Atwell for an informal audition and she will find a place for you to serve. All levels of skill welcomed as long as you have a teachable heart and spirit!

Connect Team: The connect team is made up of folks who have the desire to connect to people through events, fun activities, sports, and games. The Connect Team sponsors our Church Softball team, basketball, volleyball at Colfax C.C., Fantasy Football League, and a Pokémon Go Group. We hope to see this ministry team grow and add more activities and events as we move into the future.

Response Team: The response team is made up of our folks who respond to medical and security emergencies. This team is currently under development. if you are interested in being a part of this team you can contact Stacey Smith, our Next Generation Minister for more information. Persons who wish to participate in this ministry must meet qualifications related to the ministry.
HOME POINTE Team: The Home Pointe Ministry Team is made up of folks who minister to our families, couples, and individuals with resources and options for dealing with spiritual life, married life, family life, and life in general. resources can be found at our Home Pointe Station in the main foyer.
