Psalm 72; 95; 145; Philippians 2; Romans 14; Isaiah 45
Barak: to bless, to kneel, to salute.
- What to do when found in the presence of kings. (Psalm 72)
- What to do when found in the presence of God. (Psalm 95)
Kneeling or bowing before God is appropriate for three reasons:
He is GOD.
It reflects our faith and allegiance to God.
It is an outward response to our internal humility.
Main Point: Kneel now or kneel later. Kneeling now results in eternal life and a place in the kingdom. Kneeling later will be too late and a place in the kingdom is forfeited.
