I AM: The Truth – John 8:31-47

I AM: THE TRUTH

John 8:31-47; 11:25; 14:6; 15:1

Satan is the father of lies…falsehood.

Satan is the source of the fallen nature of the world:

• Hate, racism, murder, abuse, deceit, famine, destruction, disaster, darkness, war, and all other SIN originates with Satan.

However, just like in the garden of Eden, it is still up to us to CHOOSE between darkness and light, lies and truth.

Jesus is the source of truth

• I AM the RESURRECTION  and the life – John 11:25

• I AM the Way the TRUTH and the life – John 14:6

• I AM the TRUE VINE – John 15:1

When we know in the truth of Jesus, we are set free.

We are not free to do what we want…but free from sin, torment, death, and hell.

Main Point:  Which will you choose today?  Freedom or Slavery, Truth or Lies?
