Genesis 3
Humanity was created naked and had no shame in it. (Genesis 2:25)
Satan can appear in any form he wants.
The temptation that Satan used on humanity was the same one that caused him to fall – the desire to be an equal to God.
It was the first time in the history of humanity where the man shirked his responsibility to spiritually lead and protect his wife.
Adam and Eve tried to hide, but God knows everything.
They were naked…and afraid.
Adam passed the buck to Eve who passed the buck to Satan. Truth is they were all guilty.
Application:
- Great consequences come for those who willingly disobey God.
- There is no hiding from God. He knows us.
Main Point: Better to run to God when tempted than to try to hide from Him after sinning.
