When Christians Get in the Way

Matthew 23:1-12

Real Leaders Don’t…

1. Demand others do what they don’t.
2. Put on a show of false holiness.
3. Use position and title to take advantage of others.

Jesus is against the idea of leadership that serves itself rather than serving others.

Greatness doesn’t come from position or title…it comes from humble service.

Service is defined as giving of yourself to help God and Others.

Service does two things

1. Keeps us aware of the needs of others.
2. Keeps us from focusing on ourselves.

What Makes Jesus Happy?   WHEN WE SERVE TOGETHER!
